Denham School

Our history

It was 2012, as for the great businessman of the technical review plants, of the Denham group of companies, they offered to be part of a project, a subsidized private school. For which, his daughter, Daisy Denham, who was very interested in the world of teaching, studying parvular education, was interested in this project. He took reins and formed a management team with vast experience in administrative and managerial positions, in which they ventured in this challenge. It is there that the idea of creating an educational society whose horizon is to achieve high educational standards that contributes to academic performance and personal and social training is born. Then, the dream of a high -performance school with the name Denham School, in recognition of the successful businessman Alejandro Denham Núñez, whose invaluable human, economic and experience have made it possible to specify this great project, being his daughter Miss Daisy, the manager and the manager and Creator of this great educational project.

The Educational Society, sought for a couple of months a place that accommodated the needs demanded by our project, in this way we arrive at the commune of San Bernardo, in the southern sector. In a sector where there were great new condominiums populated by young families that would be interested in an innovative and quality school. As time passed, together with a young and motivated teaching team, together with committed and human education assistants, they formed an environment of coexistence and harmony in school, where a pleasant environment is perceived, based on respect.

Our logo

Author

The logo was designed by Rodrigo Mora Schrader, artistic designer, from which the product made and always with us is appreciated. The school logo comes from the ancient Denham families, with certainty of England but it is not known exactly from what place in this country, since the 1820. Formerly families lived in castles and strengths with their servants making each family a small town. They had a shield which represented them and protected them in case of a confrontation. This logo, which represented the Denham family, was modified by focusing on elements related to education.

Structure

The shield is preserved and inside there is a pen that means thought, diplomacy, writing and reading, the main tool for learning. On the other hand, it crosses with a sword which reflects the strength and perseverance that our students must have in the learning mission. Gray is related to independence, self-sufficiency and self-control. Blue reflects tranquility, it is associated with that it helps to control the mind, to have clarity of ideas and emerge creativity. Orange represents joy, stimulates the mind, transmits energy and happiness.

Meaning

The school shield reflects all the goals proposed by the establishment and what we want to arrive as an educational institution and the training of our students.
